Filipino American Heritage Foundation Spotlights New Scholarship & Career Pathways Program



The Filipino American Heritage Foundation (FAHF), represented by community leader Gloria T. Caoile, sat down with us today at #OnTheDot with Dorothy Tome and Mia Casiño to talk about a major new initiative designed to uplift the next generation of Filipino American youth.


Caoile shared insights into the launch of FAHF’s Scholarship & Career Pathways Program, a forward‑looking effort that supports high school students pursuing careers in the skilled trades, technical fields, healthcare certifications, and academy-based professional pathways.


The program aims to open doors, build futures, and ensure that Fil-Am students in Nevada are equipped with mentorship, financial support, and real-world career guidance.


Caoile emphasized that this initiative is not just about scholarships—it’s about creating a long-term ecosystem of opportunity, empowerment, and community support.


The Foundation will officially celebrate the program’s launch at a special reception on May 19, 2026, at Truffles N Bacon Café in Las Vegas, featuring community partners, supporters, and a live auction.


This marks a significant step in strengthening pathways for Filipino American students and ensuring they are prepared to thrive in today’s evolving workforce.
