Consul General Edgar Badajos Honored with Appreciation Dinner in Las Vegas to Mark the End of His Successful Term



The Filipino community in Las Vegas recently hosted an appreciation dinner to honor Consul General Edgar Badajos as he concludes his successful tenure at the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles. This event took place on January 27th at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.


During this grand occasion, the Consul General was presented with appreciation plaques from various Filipino organizations. In an engaging open forum, ConGen Badajos expressed his deep gratitude for the unwavering support of Filipino Americans, particularly in Southern Nevada, where an honorary consulate was established under his exceptional leadership.


Consul Badajos embarked on his career in public service starting at the Department of Foreign Affairs in 1997 and has since held numerous esteemed positions, including Director of the Political and Security Division in the Office of ASEAN Affairs. His dedication to service has taken him to various Philippine consulates across the globe, including Jeddah, Toronto, New York, and Bangkok.


With his extensive experience and unwavering commitment to serving the Filipino community, Consul General Edgar Badajos has undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the Consulate of the Philippines in Los Angeles. His tireless efforts in fostering strong ties between the Philippines and the United States have been widely recognized and celebrated by Filipino Americans nationwide.
